Duncan, that wrist looks almost EXACTLY like mine after the first race weekend of last year... and the description of what your surgery is gonna be is exactly like what I went through as well... the similarities are almost uncanny.
I ended up w/ a plate on the bottom of my ulna held in by 5 screws and one more screw that came in from the side.
Sounds like you're all set on finding a Doc, but just in case you want a second opinion I went to Dr. Uroskie at the Sports Medicine North center in Danvers MA.

He did a great job of mending me up but I DO have reduced range of motion despite a Physical Therapy... I'm gonna check with my insurance about getting the hardware taken out soon.
