A lot of people don't seem to understand that Penguin offers Track Days AND Race Schools. I'm not sure what your previous experience was on the track berfore this but I would never recommend a Race School to someone who hadn't done at least a couple of track days....
Looking at your picture of the start it looks like about 30 people...not too many for a Race School...believe me!
And the changes in timing are perfectly normal...not a reflection of the organization!!! I never line up at the stated time...I wait until I see the group before mine coming in and ask a couple people who's up next. (The PA system sucks and my hearing ain't what it used to be!)
