what's up with your bike?
well to be honest, I've had it for 4 years now and last summer things started going. I was stuck in that miserable Boston rush hour traffic, heat of the summer, and the bike kept stalling. Come to realize the air fan sensor wasn't tripping the fan, so the bike was getting real grumpy and overheating. Right- ok, so I bring that to the shop and get it fixed. 2 weeks later bf brings it home for me (the shop is on the way from work for him, so he picked it up for me) runs great now, we go out to run some errands in the car and come home to find the bike on its side in the driveway fresh dent in the tank (I bought it used with one already on it) and the shifter peg is snapped off. I don't have the tools to work on it (probably not the know how either), so next race date dad puts her on the trailer and brings her home to CT to work on it. For a christmas gift, he brings the tank to a shop to have dents pulled and repaint (yay!! so pretty 3 weeks ago we put the tank on, start the bike, she idles for a few minutes and dies. and won't start again. we discover rust or some sort of nasty red sediment in the tank, and its gummed up the carbs and my poor SV is still frigging broken!! My dad cleaned up the carbs for me and I'm going home to get her *finally* this weekend. LOL....does that answer your question??
