Question is...how do I fix that little annoying issue?

A squirt of lubricant directly into the lock (or spray the key, and then put it in the lock), and a dab of grease on the handlebar lock (it's on the steering stem on my CBR) should help thngs out. As for the ACC switch - turn it here and try the horn and turnsignals. There's a chance the manufacturer could have used a switch from a touring model - so it's an open position.
Thank you Sir, I will try WD40 in the lock and see if I can find the other part you're talking about and grease it.

Yup, the EX. Got no problem with the ZX10 besides the fact that I'm still trying to get used to the awful, uncomfortable seating position. That bike was/is barely ridden by my husband, still in showroom condition, so I'm trying to take it out once in a while to make it happy.
