Thank you Sir, I will try WD40 in the lock and see if I can find the other part you're talking about and grease it.

Yup, the EX. Got no problem with the ZX10 besides the fact that I'm still trying to get used to the awful, uncomfortable seating position.
That bike was/is barely ridden by my husband, still in showroom condition, so I'm trying to take it out once in a while to make it happy.
