If thats the case and it something you rely on like you do, from my experience with fixerupers once you replace a broken part it forces the older stuff to fail because it cannot perform like the new stuff and it becomes a major headache. It may be cheaper in the long run to just replace and maintain new stuff rather than try and keep fixing the old stuff, especially when its something you need.

especially if the tires are locking up at 70 on 495. your lucky nothing worse happened i have heard some trailer horror stories.
