the held akira gloves are around $220, but they look pretty similar to my motoGP nitrous gloves that i picked up for like $80 shipped. i've had the nitrous for about 2 years now, crashed in them, and they've held up fine so far...

my helds are still going strong after 4 years.
the gp pro's had holes in them in one season (they never touched or slid on the ground)
i've worn out a lot of gloves in 28 years, the helds are the best uninsulated gloves iv'e ever worn.
