I was talking to a bike mechanic about that. He said that this will result in a loss in power. At the top end I believe. Not a ton but noticable. His reccomendation was to shorten the pipe a bit then go with a high mount exhaust to replace some of the length. Im not sure if its just a back pressure issue or if you can just re map the PC to correct for the loss in power. Might wanna ask around a bit more.
