Is there any way to tell if I have mold resitant drywall? The spot above the tub where the ceiling started to peal off doesn't appear moldy, but I dunno if it's something you can tell by just looking at it.. |
Why would you need to remove the tub? Every single tub I have put in goes in before the rock against the studs. It doesn't matter if it is new work or a remodel. What kind of tub is it? Cast? Fiberglass? Tile walls? Surround?
I've done plenty of bath room remodels without taking the tub out.
