I can't believe some stores, either farmers little stores or groceries, sell them for about $15.00 a piece, and they're not even that good. I'd love to find a french canadian place somewhere not too far from us. I even thought for a while to open my own little store and sell mostly exclusively french canadian products such as meat pies, cheese curds, BBQ gravy, some pies, cakes and desserts, candy bars from Quebec (Aero, Coffee Crisp, Cherry Blossom, etc.) and a bunch of other stuff. I don't have the cash to do it tho. I have two ovens so I could bake and/or cook some stuff, but someone told me it is very complicated and costly to go thru all this just to get it approved by FDA to be sold in any store?? Is that true? |
