| Re: american superbike?!? Wow, someone assembled an expensive superbike. They took an existing motor and bolted off the shelf parts to it. They made a frame and wired up a bunch of crap to it.
It's a dumb heavy motor to make a bike out of.
Sport bike design orthodoxy is so narrow that, really, a Ducati, a Suzuki and a Honda all look alike unless you are some kind of fiend and spend all your time looking at them and thinking about them.
It would be nice to see Bombadier, parent company of Rotex and maker of corporate jets and snowmobiles make a real North American sportbike. This thing is nothing.
What's American? Its garbage engine and frame, nothing else. Swedish shocks, Italian brakes, I bet the electronics and many other parts are from Asia. So, BFD, a couple of engine castings and a frame that's standard operating procedure. |
