So unfortunately for me I crashed my bike today and feel like a complete jackass, this is my second bike and although it's a 97 it was in pretty good condition until today that is. While on the way to a friends house some asshat in an suv decides they need the entire road to take a corner and so I pretty much almost made out with the grill of this pos. It all happened pretty fast but basically said suv was entirely in my lane and I mean 100% directly in front of me so I stood the bike up he/she swerved and I dropped it back down to try and negotiate the turn sans getting hit but it didn't work out too well. Hit a patch of sand on the side of the road and that was it, bike was down and I was flying through the air and ended up landing in the road (no clue how that happened). I'm just pissed because I was barely putting along in second gear taking it easy and some fuck feels the need to haul ass around a corner in their tank of an suv. Luckily for me I was wearing all my gear and don't have a scratch or a bruise on me at all, I didn't even bother taking pics of my jacket because it held up like a champ. I pretty much landed on my left shoulder and fore arm and my jacket saved me! this is the jacket I bought and it may be hard to tell from the pics but I got up w/out a scratch because of my gear.
