Think of this as a ride to meet people and hang for the day. If you want speed you can meet up and take off, maybe we can set a place to meet for lunch. There is a lot open right now.
Enough people would warrant a couple of groups (5-6 to a group) and we could seperate into speed groups/comfort level. I'm more than happy to make everyone that comes on a ride I put together feel comfortable. If that means that someone doesn't like the pace and wants to ride slower and everyone else wants to take off - we can meet at several stop points along the way and I'll hang back.
I got rid of the ZRX because I was dangerous on it. I was going too fast and feared losing my job or a limb due to the speeds I was going. I DO NOT have interest in seeing how fast we can get from one point to another. I want to hang out with people, enjoy the ride and have fun. If that doesn't suit anyone - don't come. If you are looking for breakneck speeds and being squidly - go on a different ride.
This will be an opportunity for newer people, new to the board or new to NESR to get to know each other and the veteran NESR people can get to know new people and maybe make some friends.
Make no mistake - the speed is not a joke. Not everyone wants to go...what was it Moto.....27 over the limit????? Some people here may be brandy new to riding and want to meet people. I know when I first started riding I was terrified of going on a group ride because I didn't want to get left behind. If you are comfortable going 10-15 over the limit, please don't hesitate to join in here. I wont get down on anyone for wanting to come out and meet people.
For those that like going faster. This may be a good ride to go 2-up and see some nice Northern NH scenery.
