the ZX-6 was the marketing name for the model # ZX600D
the Ninja 600R was the marketing name for the model # ZX600C
the ZX600C was the original middleweight Ninja sportbike and made a respectable 70bhp for its day, but by today's conventions is underpowered, doesn't handle well (and has a steel-tube frame), slow, isn't geared well, and doesn't get around the track all that fast...I had one for my first street bike 5 years ago
people that list ANY 600cc Ninja before 1990 either don't know that it's NOT a ZX-6 or are just trying to sell it to someone that doesn't know the difference
