I'd be willing to bet you eat quickly and with a pound of pasta, salad, bread you're over-filling it. If you cut your portions, you're right, you'll be hungry for a while. After a few days your stomach will shrink a bit and you won't need as much volume.
One of the reasons Americans have a higher obesity rate than their European counterparts has to do with how fast we eat. Try slowing down when you eat. You won't end up so full that you feel sick and you won't stretch your stomach. |
