I think its pretty obvious who he's calling out when he says "You" in every single one of these phrases, directed at me. They are personal, they are degrading, and much worse- obscenely baseless. And yes I did call him senile- I chose to fight fire with fire. When someone shows me a little respect, I happily return it. Such is not the case between Rich W and I apparently. |
I think you have completely missed the point. You claim there are fundamentalist christian terrorist organizations out there but all you have to back it up is events of the past that no longer occur and a few isolated incidents executed by lone individuals.
There is no Al-Queda of the Christian Right, there is no Christian equivalent of Hamas.
I don't care what excuses were used hundreds of years ago to opress/murder/enslave people. I care about what is going on today. We can look to the past to learn how to deal with todays issues by seeing what worked in the past. But you haven't sited one example of a current Christian terrorist group.
The closest thing I would say we have is those looney tunes over at Westboro Baptist Church. But they aren't terrorists as all they do is protest in (IMHO)VERY inappropriate places. But all they do is protest.
