This is my old neighborhood, I used to ride something close this route almost every night on the way home from work. I'd suggest altering this to avoid 101 if at all possible. It's always full of traffic, it's straight, and there are a ton of traffic lights. 119 is fairly avoidable as well.
Several of the roads out there have been repaved recently and are really nice. Guess I'd have to think about it to remember the names of the streets though.
