I rode on Christmas day. I spent most of the day talking my 70 year old uncle out of buying a 636.

I rode yesterday and put 75 miles on the old ZX . Very little sand. Plenty of potholes. Even more assholes in cages out shopping. Still a blast .

Yeah, I zipped everywhere yesterday, giggling the whole time, all toasty and roasty with my goods. I got a cheap seat heater kit too. Fucking AWESOME.

Riding around Rhode island today on my grom. The irony is I'm having heated seats installed in my transit and freezing my balls off on my bike. Loaded the TC with my bike so I could get around while they're working on it. No heated gear, just under armour layer. Cold ad hell.

I spotted a rider at the DD in medford near wellington. Full leathers with pucks I think it was a Speed and Strength in black and white (mostly white) with matching boots. He was riding a white extended swingarm Busa. I was thinking to myself he must have gotten some gift cards to parkway cycle. Not a good look. Good day to pose though.

wish my stator wasn't on the fritz, I am missing all that free horsepower performance that you never see in warm weather

I've got a quirky starting issue.
NOT fuel and I've changed the battery and new plugs.

On a cold start it acts like one cylinder maybe both are not getting spark. I give it a moment to let the vapors dissipate as I can smell the fuel and I try it over and over till it just barely fires over like it is on one cylinder. Sometimes I pull the plug and there is no spark when I turn it over. When there is a spark with the plug out she obviously fires. When the bike has been running for maybe 30 seconds and then I shut it off and attempt to restart it I have no starting issue. its like something warmed up in that time for things to then operate correctly.

This is a weird one. Going to check out the switches. Maybe there is corrosion somewhere that is not providing good connectivity. hell bikes got over 50K. Something had got to give.

rode mid 40's/raining last night & even heated grips and an insulated rain suit didn't do it...trucked today...

I really want a heated vest, but unfortunately grips alone tax too much on the system's electrics...LED indicator red the whole way (and flashing red when idling)

If you figure it out let me know what you got. My TL has a similar behavior but it doesn't have to be cold out to do it. First start up in the AM bike runs like it is on one cylinder until the bike heat soaks, I'm talking frame, motor, radiators all hot. Once heat soaked, turn it off and start it up again and it will run fine for the rest of the day, even sitting for extended times and cooling off again. Leave it over night and same deal in the AM.

sounds like some of the issues I had with my DL1000 even after I replaced my cancerous wire harness and sensors, the ECU counts on getting good voltage signals from sensors, in my case, it was a combination of faulty sensors (some were brand new oem replacement) , not so good connections to the wire harness. Fixed with liberal use of DeOxit products and replacing some of the sensors a 3rd time

If you're gonna run any kind of heated gloves, you need wind deflectors first. The cold air will suck the heat right out of anything. Even at the groms speeds.

I rode to work for the first time since the snow fell (on a moto). Man, how I have missed a hum-drum commute.
Little heat from the gear, little heat from my seat, some fog, and no pressure. It's unreal how 30 minutes of solitude like that can change your mood.

Today I rode to work for the first time in a week. It's amazing how much cold rain sucks. Today is spectacular tho. Even at 6:30am it was a great ride.
