It's that time of year again, and we'd like all of you to join us at Reed's Ride 2012!
This year, we've gotten a late start on getting the word out about the 2012 date for Reed's Ride...which is why we need your help even more than in years past! Please, spread the word; print out a few flyers and hand them out at bike nights or post them at your local dealer, tell your riding friends, post about it on Facebook, give out the website address to any motorcyclists you see, etc.
For those of you new to us, we started organizing this event in 2009, to honor our friend Reed St. Pierre, who was taken from us before his time. All funds raised go to benefit the Bristol Adult Resource Center, an organization with strong meaning to Reed's family.
The ride portion of the event will follow the same format as last year, with 3 optional checkpoints. Details and a route will be provided to all riders at check-in or registration, on the day of the event. As always, riders are encouraged to come with friends, and enjoy the ride in their own way and at their own pace.
This year, we are again making a serious effort to encourage people to come hang out, enjoy the food, music and camaraderie, even if you aren't riding! Help us, by spreading the word to anyone you know who'd like to come out and join us for a good time.
Pre-registration for this year's event has already begun. We encourage you to pre-register to help us in making accurate preparations, but of course registration is available on the day of the event, from 9am-11am.
Registration for this year's event is $20 for a single person, or $30 for 2 people. Please remember, the 2 person registration is intended for a rider/passenger pair, couples, or a parent & child. We also have a separate registration option this year for people not riding, who just want to come to the BBQ; that option is $15/person.
