FS: 1999 Honda VFR800 - CT

Testing the waters on my very well cared for fuel-injected 5th gen VFR 800. The bike has 30,xxx miles

Upgrades include: heli-bar risers, very comfortable Sargent seat, micron exhaust, K&N air filter.

Recent routine services include: fresh fluids all around (brake lines, clutch, coolant, oil changed at the beginning of every season). New rear tire, new brake pads front and rear.

This is a turn key bike, mechanically sound and in good cosmetic condition for its age. I have the stock pipe, stock seat, owners manual, repair manual, as well as a clean title. It's a super smooth bike that is comfortable enough for a daily commute and can also take corners like an aggressive sport bike.

Full Disclosure: P/O dropped it on its right side in the grass at low speed, minor scratches are barely visible from 3 feet away, no cracks in the fairing, purely cosmetic.

Every time a nice one of these pops up, and makes me wish I had the room in the garage for it. Well that, and I have two others (ST2 and ZRX) that fit the bill of slightly overweight but comfy do-it-all sport bikes. Gorgeous bike!

Sold mine a couple years ago. Looking back, one of the best all around bikes - ever. No problem getting front wheel off ground. And that sound? Oh, well, can't keep em' all. GLWS.

Id love to come check it out, its exactly what I'm looking for, as a next bike, unfortunately I won't have any money for it till February when taxes come in and I'm thinking itll be long gone by then. Glws

I was thinking of getting a mint 2000 for 4500 but it is bone stock. Valves ever adjusted? I checked my old 96 at 24k and it was still ok. You have the Sargent, Helis and the exhaust so that's nice. Reminds me of a friend's bike I almost bought. But I had a mortgage refi coming up at the time. I will text you later today.
