    Re: 2012 Riders Discount 675R

"Bought it from the team" meaning this is an honest-to-god, front-running AMA bike? Not sure how I never picked up on that, that is pretty awesome. Sorry to hear you are out of the game next year. This is why I'm stalling on the whole "family" thing.

Thanks guys. Believe me I don't want to do this and my wife is cool with it, but having an off in July and having to have surgery makes me think that right now is not the right time to be pushing it at the track with 3 young ones at home and a stay at home wife. I get that it it's safer than the street, but the kind of riding I plan on doing in the foreseeable future is a bit more subdued.

I know this is a lot more than most would spend on a track bike, but it is worth it. I am somewhat negotable. I would rather see it go to some one from here that will appreciate it.

I am taking spread bets on number of days before Jewcati is riding this at Loudon. We all know he is not going to sell this, he just pretends.

Ok....last try before it gets fixed this week and ridden. Willing to entertain some crazy offers, but please be mindful of what it is.

Also, willing to entertain partial trades.

Yeah, this seems sort of like when you sponsor somebody's H1B visa. You take out an ad in the paper, maybe even interview some people, but it's all for show.

Jewcati (to his wife): "Sorry honey, I donno why it's not selling. I went and bumped the post on NESR like twice last month. I'm gonna have to take it to NYST for opening day and do a few laps to get any calcium deposits out of the blow-out valve and check the specs on the end line of the rotory girder."

Stop being so damn lazy and give this thing the marketing effort it deserves. A few track days in CT, a few in NY, and maybe some racing, you know, to get some visibility and entice buyers.

    Three things:

    1. I have never seen any high end niche item sell on NESR. In fact, I have never seen any item priced over $150 sell on NESR.
    2. As I have been saying, you need to fix it to give it a better chance of selling. A $5k project bike is a different proposition than a $11k project bike.
    3. Once you fix it, you won't want to sell it.

    ^ just stop.
There's nothing more annoying to a seller than a bunch of asshats talking shit in one's for-sale thread.
Especially when you're talking nonsense about the item up for grabs.

Not entirely true; I sold my Duc Hyper last year through a NESR referral. But I agree, there's a lot of cheapskates on NESR! Including me. Lol

I have to agree with Petorius and xxaarraa. Fix it and then if you decide to sell it, it will be much easier to sell a bike that doesn't have visible issues.
