FYI, the Summit event is their version of the Loudon Classic. it's a 3 day event with side kart racing. it's packed there, but a lot of fun.
I'll have some of my local friends there to ride and hang out with us too.

this is my last rurrah for racing.
i'll be doing 2-3 LRRS rounds and 1 at VIR after this year.
so if you want to check other tracks this year and want someone to pit & travel with, i'd suggest planning on it this year

Hey Jim I'll be going down to Summit in May as well. I have a 2007 ZX6r any idea what people are running for gearing?

-1/+2 is a good baseline. For the 06/07 GSXR 600, that's 15/45
keep in mind that CCS doesnt have a novice class. so novice & amatuers run yellow plates, and that means you'll be gridding up with 1st time racers.

I swapped around -1/+1 and -1/+2 last year, because i went to all 3 rounds at Summit. I'm planning on doing -1/+1 again as that straight is very long. i hit 146 MPH on my Qstarz GPS timer.


REMEMBER: CCS grids you on order of registration and not points. so if you're definitely going, fax in your entries now.

ya that's my only round at NJMP, and i'm only doing ASRA. i'm not even doing CCS races at these tracks.
Out of the 8 tracks I raced at last year, NJMP is my least favorite track for AM MW grids.
trying to cut back and save for a house.
