Anyone still offer tire changing services in 2015?

Just contacted a couple people in the stickies. So far everyone I've spoken to no longer offers the service or moved. The dealership by me will only change tires if the tires were purchased through them (bought mine online due to sale).

    Bueller?? Bueller???

Did you bring them your own tires or did you purchase the tires through them?

Where are you in metro west? I just had a tire put on at Central Mass PowerSports in lunenburg. It was my own tire. Very good price too.

Cool. Here's some info to help you clean up the stickies:

Gamorg02 - Franklin, MA (Moved out of state)
    Kumpy - Norton, MA (Moved)
Hondarider102 - Lancaster, MA (stated in thread he's out of the business)

Sounds like Performance cycles? They told me the same line, service guys got a little annoyed when I pointed out that I purchased my 2009 Yamaha Fz1 from less than 2 months ago and the belts were are showing on the rear tire.

    I went to Bikeworx:
    1 Kane Industrial Dr
    Hudson, MA

OK remembered Motorsports International in Auburn, MA. Just called them and they will do tire changes even if you bring your own tires. 30-40ish minutes from the house.

YUP!! What's messed up is the bike that I'm looking to get the tires changed on is a bike that I bought from them.... I've heard Bikeworx mentioned in the past. I'll check them out.

Call CMP 978-345-7360 is the number I use and ask for Gary, tell him Todd sent you. It should be a good thing.

Might be easier to say how much a mount and balance was so everyone and their mom doesn't have to call Gary individually.

Happy to help, I'm in Waltham. Don't typically advertise as I don't really want / need a ton of business... but if I'm close to you and its convenient send me a PM!

I can help with a couple of days notice. Bring wheels off the bike and take the old tires home with you. I'm in Wilmington.

Appreciate everyone chiming in. I've decided to go to Motorsports International in Auburn Sat morning. Not too far from home, easy commute, decent price.

Just getting back to this......more of an FYI for future reference CMP charges $20/tire if you bring in the wheel. Doesn't matter where you purchase it.

I'm gonna put in a good educated guess that it is really only based on who you know there, i know some people there pretty well and i know that they have turned people away who did not purchase the tires from them.

Re: Anyone still offer tire changing services in 2015?

I can confidently tell you it's $20 a wheel if you race. $45/wheel standard charge, wheels off - does not matter where tires were purchased at Central Mass Powersports.

That's the deal, etched in stone.

Ok, back to changing them myself. Glad you spoke up, I woulda been mighty pissed to get a set of wheels down there only to find out the price has more than doubled.
