Spending a week in Wells, ME, where am I riding?

Taking my wife's advice I am bringing my bike on a family vacation starting Saturday in Wells, ME. According to her a week with 6 kids (not all mine) will be enough to make me "want to open a vein"....
So with that said, what is there for interesting riding in the area? Not interested in the shoreline touristy stuff, looking quickly at Google maps I was thinking about heading NW of wells?

Route 109 into NH for a bit then get's pretty descent when you get int0 the lakes region. rt#153 around Wakefield going north is not bad either. #109 is right there near wells going west. Some of it sucks typical Towns and such.

What are you riding? How far are you looking to go?

Shore road south of Wells through Ogunquint to York really is nice. Out to Nubble light and maybe stop for some ice cream at the joint just before the lighthouse. Although that is touristy.

Ride up mt Agamenticus is always fun. And if you're okay with dirt, the dirt road north of Mt A (mountain road) is a stomping ground for me.
91 from the Hannafords off 1 is a nice little rip through the woods.

    Let's see,
    half to full day riding
    not on a dual sport

What about around Sebago Lake area? Lakes usually equal fun roads!

I don't know the Sebago area very well.

Is Rangeley within range? 17 into Rangeley lake is not terrible. Make a loop of it by hooking over to the NH border and doing 113 through Evans' notch. Do HMR. Do 153 as mentioned here earlier. That is a somewhat less traveled path.

If you go north to rangeley I'd head up rte 16 to rte 27 then go as far north as you want, great road.
For a shorter trip head up either side of sebago and pick up 219 in Paris. Awesome road with few houses and paved wide shoulders. In turner you can cut back across on 117 and back down. The further you get from the dipshit tourists on the coast the better your ride will be.

Thanks for the suggestions I will start mapping something out tonight. Need to map a route up to Wells also, leaving Saturday morning from Framingham and taking back roads, I don't need to be there until around 4pm so that should give me plenty of time to explore on the way up.

My phone, actually debating on pulling the trigger on a I phone6 so I can get the Tom Tom Rider app with the windy road option. Can't see dropping for $400 for the standalone Tom Tom Rider.

RT 160 from Limerick to Brownfield then Denmark is a nice ride, but I haven't been on it in a couple years so I don't know current pavement conditions, winter frost heaves wreak havok

Stopped @ Skowhegan to look @ a Ninja 1000, then stopped @ Great Bay and lastly Max BMW. Boyd corner road in Ogunquit was a awesome road, just paved, little bit of gravel right in the middle of the lane, but still very nice.
