    Fork oil weeping...

So while out for a ride at lunch i happen to look down and noticed a very small amount of fork oil on on the top of the fork. I thought it was just road grime so i wiped it away and after a little riding i noticed more. Any ideas or should i just call pete for a fork rebuild?

I was told that if oil can get out then air can get in and the forks can "pump up ". I'd at least get new seals.

That's not where fork seals leak. Looks like bad o-ring in the cap to me. Should be a simple fix. What year/model bike?

I don't think Honda sells parts for that cap, you need to buy the entire cap from them for 33 bucks. I'd try to take it apart and see if it can be fixed with a new o-ring, or set up a camera to catch the guy that's putting drops of oil on your fork caps while you're not looking.

Yes, looks like it. i can get orings, but to get to them will require a regular service.

It's more likely to be brake fluid from an over filled brake fluid reservoir than a leaky fork top. When the brake fluid heats up too mu ch (or if there is water in it) it can expand and spray out of the cap onto the fork tops and top triple/windscreen etc.

If it is brake fluid you wanna make damn sure that you don't let it sit on anything painted because it won't be painted for long
