Yeah, he forgot the two zeros at the end...

Also, seen quite a few Honda crf230f's. To be honest, with its very entry level marketing and rear drum brake, I completely dismissed it, but they can be found like new for 2k or so, and all the reviews seem to praise them, any thoughts on something like that, or do I want to stick with a better used bike?

How tall are you? Nothing wrong w the bike but I think you'll have the feet out like training wheels!

almost 6', seat height is 2 inches lower than my wr, so yeah, may end up being an issue. all things are pointing towards a certain orange bike.

That 200 XC is a sweet bike. I dig mine a lot. I bought a well used woods racer. It's got some dings but has been virtually problem free for me so far. They really are simple bikes, even if the Austrians tried to complicate things.

It looks good, he's pretty firm at 2200, which is way more than what I want to spend. (have to add in that I'll need to buy a small trailer to both pick up and bring to the trails).

RM200 for sale near me. No idea on year or asking price but its fairly clean....Id say 6 out of 10 for what appears to be an early to mid eighties dirt bike.

    Re: WTB: Inexpensive Dirtybike

So, how much more powerful is a 450 four stroke vs a 250 4 stroke?

    Don't answer that, bad idea.

    No 450f mx bikes!

They are over your skill level, and when they grenade, cost as much as another bike to repair

I liked the crf230...great learner bikes, but you gotta sit on one and ride it to see if it's too soft for you

if you have to pick b/w clean KDX200 and *older* 2-stroke wood bike, take your luck w' the clean KDX!

just make sure the bike wasn't just cleaned up w' a sticker kit

    Re: WTB: Inexpensive Dirtybike

im really trying to find something newer. im also going to look at a crf 250x, which got better reviews than the 230 I mentioned previously. I think I had the 2 confused and assumed they were the same bike. there are more differences than I thought.

    Re: WTB: Inexpensive Dirtybike

250x would be awesome...that's a legit full sized bike and e-start...but they carry a premium

    Re: WTB: Inexpensive Dirtybike

It's extremely close, but gives me a bike to beat up on, with similar traits to the wr the bank owns and I enjoy on the street as well.
