1st annual WMC reunion ride - 8/30

Let's make it official.

We'll meet at the Irving gas station in Deerfield on rt 5+10 Sunday, August 30th. Let's say 8:30, kickstands up at 9:30.

Pace will be moderately fast, Vermont style passing and we'll make our way north west. Ride is open to anyone that wants to come. Just where gear and don't act retarded.

Not all of us live in Western MA. Just FYI the starting point is an hour and a half away from me. So Yes, I will be stopping in orange to go pee pee, get a drink maybe, possibly some fuel, clean some bugs off the faceshield....

..And I dont want Mike to have to ride into Deerfield alone

I will be at the gas station at the corner or route 20 and route 56 at 0800. I get out of work approximately 0730 so I could be a couple minutes early or couple late.

What's a hornet?

A hornet is a cbr900rr motor that's been fuel injected and tuned for torque and placed in a naked bikes frame. Its the closest bike I have ridden that I can term hooligan. Its just so much fun on the road. Suspension is garbage but I'm working on it. Its basically a really fast sv.

I do have several beaters but I sold nearly everything. I'm down to the Harley, rd350, gsxr track bike and the hornet. I'm waiting until winter to buy a new bike. The r1 had to go. Such a piece. I always hated it. The hornet is the most capable street bike I have for these types of rides.

I'm also a definate for the ride. I got the front suspension all set. I still have to sort the preliad spacers buts its rideable now. I'd like to get my sprockets on it but I don't see that happening now.

Ya. I've ridden with everyone else but you so I know how these ones turn out. That's why I'm so hung up on getting the suspension semi sorted. I'm screwed on the rear shock but I'm going to get it as close to use able as I can. I'm pretty sure I will be able to keep up but I can't really push it. The bike just doesn't like that yet.
