Holy crap!!!

I balanced my wheel first, then put the tire on, it was closer than 5g needed to balance the assembly!

Michelin makes good stuff!

Now after about 50 miles, the balance will be different. so it doesn't matter. gonna leave the sucker alone.

EXACTLY!!!

No balance marks. They are spun to a certain tolerance in the French and Spanish factory.

I mount and balance a lot of tires (probably 10 or so a week) and the Pilot Powers rarely need more than half an ounce. They are easily the most well-balanced tires out there.

I don't even bother to balance the Michelins. Now the Dunlops.....................................I have had to put up to 2 oz's on some wheels.

Wow, if I get to 1 1/2 OZ i try to spin the tire on the rim and try again, but I have seen 2 oz before also. It's a crapshoot, but the runslops are easily the worst to balance.

I have been running Michelins in one form or another for thirty years.

Never had a bad experience and even though they are just a bit more,
the life and service you get out of them make them more than worth it.

Car ... truck ... bike, they all did me well. I vote with my dollar and have
yet to go elsewhere. Don't need to.

re: 2CT

Street duty, track day or two. 2CT front & rear, or just front?

I meant, 2CT F & R, or 2CT F & plain Power R. Damn rube. Really, I could get by with a set of Roads for most of my riding these days.

2 CT's

I got a 2CT rear. It was shop mounted and they definitely balanced it. I have a reg. Pilot Power front and it was balanced as well. They put them on the rims and balance them then.

Don't know dudes.

Erm, great! Not sure what your point was, seriously.

I think we all agree that all tires need balancing.

More to the point, what shop was it and how much did they charge you?

How does $305 sound, for a 120/70 & 190/50 mounted & balanced?

I tried the local shops, so now I have to resort to e-commerce & tire irons.
