Clutch Judder/Shudder?

Can someone describe to me what clutch judder/shudder is?

clutch jutter

its a circular dish shaped ring. it's placed on the inside of the clutch pack and acts as a spring to help seperate the clutch disks when the clutch is pulled helping to ensure they dont stick and are bathed in oil. ........I THINK
