Have someone help you - it'll make it a lot easier for the first time. Mount all the new harware, put the bike on a stand and turn the handlebars so the resevoir is level. I remove the windscreen on my f4i to make it easy to pour fluid into the resevoir.

- You'll need a piece of clear hose about a foot long that fits on the caliper bleeders, a catch bottle, a box wrench for the bleeders, new brake fluid, and shop towels.

- open and close both bleeders before starting, just to make sure they aren't rusted...
- wrap the shop towel around the sides of the resevoir to catch any fluid, it destroys paint in a hurry.
- start at the caliper furthest from the resevoir (left side when sitting on the bike), Put the box end of the wrench on the bleeder, snap on the hose, and put the other end of the hose into the bottle. Make sure the high point of the hose arch is well above the bleeder.
- pour fluid into the resevior until it is about 1/4 inch from the top.
- Have one person slowly squeeze the brake lever and hold it against the bar.
- Simultanenously open the bleeder, wait a second, and close the bleeder.
- Repeat the squeeze, open, close until fluid comes out, make sure the resevoir fluid level stays good.
- Switch sides and repeat the squeeze, open close, fill until fluid comes out.

- That was the initial bleed to get the bulk of the air out. Most likely the lever won't go to the bar at this point until you open the bleeder.

- Switch back to the left side and repeat the squeeze, open, wait, close, keeping an eye on the hose for any air bubbles. When no bubbles show up, switch sides and repeat.

- Clean up, put the bike back together, and it should be all set. Good luck...
