My girl has a dirty tail

Ok... How the hell am I supposed to get this grime off of my undertail, no matter what car wash I use, or how hard and long I scrub it stays there.

Try using something like Honda Cleaner or something similar. Its a spray on, and cleans off grease, road dirt, and chain fling off like crazy. It all depends on exactly what it is thats stuck to your undertail......good luck!

Pretty sure its just dirt thats embedded in the undertail.. It comes off the original bodywork, but not the aftermarket piece from Hotbodies.

Get a can of Brake cleaner from the auto parts store, spray it on a rag and wipe.

Uhhhhh, no.

Brake cleaner on paint (and possibly fiberglass)?

I'd think it would soften some of those surfaces.

They have brake cleaner that is safe for plastic & paint.

I wouldn't use the dangerous stuff anywhere on my bike anyway.

BTW.. make sure you rinse simple green off well. It's not supposed to sit on aluminum... though few motorcycle parts are thin enough to worry about it.

I use the automotive simple green. Just don't get it on your tires or, at least, let it sit on them.

Johnny throw some Simple Green on there and rub it with a microfiber, should take all of it off. Then go have a few beers to cool down from the hard work

I would say to try a clay bar kit, you would be amazed at what those things will pull out.
