Brake Fluid still good?

I got a bottle of Motul brake fluid that's about 1/3 full.
Its been sitting in garage sealed since March or so.

Still good? Or trash?

Also what's the fluid capacity for just my front brakes ?
Will one 500ml bottle do it? I cant remember and dont want
to start if I gots enough.

trash, the cap on the bottle dosent seal as well as the hydraulic system so its not gonna last as long in the bottle as in the system. With all this humidity its sure to have absorbed some moisture out in the garage. Plus I dont think 1/3 bottle would be quite enough, better to just start off with a fresh bottle. One 500ml bottle should be plenty for just your fronts.

So do most just trash the stuff after you open the bottle?
Anyway to store it better?

No Problem
Yes
Nope, motul packages the bottles with a nitrogen charge so your never going to be able to recreate that condition. Even without that, Dot 4 racing fluid was never ment to be stored after it was opened, dot 3 car stuff is a different story.

As mentioned above, it's supposed to be junk.

I have to admit, I have used some brake fluid in the past from an open bottle... but generally it's only been open for a month or so... the time frame between changing fluid when I was racing.
