cleaned it and put a little grease on it so I didn't gawl it. I guess it really was evident when I tighten the axle as if there was to much force squeezing the axle on the bearing collars.

Make sure you put the spacer in. Look around in your garage.

Yup tread is headed the right way.

The wheel was off for about a week and a half, would something have dried out?

Or do you think the shop I went to fucked something up?

I would say take the wheel off and inspect the bearings as best you can without taking them out, What did you have the shop do to it? anything that would effect the bearings? Brakes are not dragging right?

Try reinstalling your wheel but while it is off, pry back your brake pads to see if that has anything to do with it.

Does your axle just get torqued down or is there a pinch of on it? If there is a pinch bolt then it only needs to be torqued to a small ft/lb generally

Edit: this is google for you

Front brake caliper bolts: 22 ft lb (and a dab of red locktite)
Front axle pinch bolts: 16 ft lb
Front axle bolt: 58 ft lb
Rear axle nut: 83 ft lb

You do have a torque wrench right Mr. engineer?

I'm all set, I never notice the drag before I changed tires, but it appears that the last dlido to put brake fluid in put way to much, so the calipers wouldn't release. Drained a little last yesterday to get it down to the upper level and everything is O-Tay!
