2003 GSXR 1000 Frame slider questionHey all - I missed placed my owners manual last week! AH! Ok but the point is I ordered a new one and it will be here in like a week and a half (oy) anyways - to the question I bought a no fairing modification frame slider set, brand is Shogun, they bolt right onto the engine mounting bolts - my question is this - they didn't come with instructions - but what torque do I have to tighten the engine bolts to? Or does it matter in this case? P.S. I also bought loc tite to use as well. |

2003 GSXR 1000 Frame slider questionMost likely the owners manual won't have the torque value for those bolts... Take a sharpie or paint marker and put a line that runs from the bolt onto the frame. Break the bolt loose, and measure the torque value you get when you line the marks back up. Hope this helps. |
