Posted on speedzilla as well.

I took of my front for new rubber last night, and the spacers are different sizes.



I measured 16mm on the passenger side, 9mm on the drivers side front.



I found this thread

which shows 16.5mm on the passenger side, so I think thats right, then it doesnt say about the drivers side!!!! HELP!



Are they supposed to be different? why?



also, my rar, the flanged one was 15mm and the other was 14mm



these are approximations with a ruler through a plastic bag at work, so its not exact. THANKS!

They are different sizes. If you have them on backwards you wont be able to install the calipers.

sweet, thanks dude, That makes sense about the calipers. I didn't think of that. Why the f are they offset?

if you look at the axle it has a think side and and thin side. That makes up the extra space.

Im not talking about diameter, I am talking about width. The axle diamter would account of ID changes, but not the width changes.

the think side of the axle goes through the fork and contacts to the spacer. It makes up for the smaller width.

yea, backwards = no go and a lot of caliper/rotor grinding. I found this out a couple weeks ago.
