Ok right now I have a 99 gsxr 750 that the chain needs to be changedright now its geared -1 +4 I want to change it to -1 +2 any suggestions on a chain kit and where to buy?

Sprocket Center has always been good to me. As far as a kit you already know what you want so you need to decide on chain size and steel vs. aluminum.

i've ordered from solomotoparts.com free shipping on anything over $99, which the chain itself should cover it. your chain should be 525, so i'd recommend the DID 525 gold rivet XSO chain, which is around $120.

if you stick with steel sprockets, AFAM or Sunstar. sunstar is the OEM brand for suzuki. if you go aluminum, just stay away from vortex

thanks for the advise DB whats wrong with vortex? i hear alot of people say dont use them but give no reasons why. do they wear alot faster or something?

Aluminum sprockets do burn up pretty quick. Uncle on his rc51 only got 3k out of a couple sets. Not due to ill adjustment. Fuckin torque killed it. on my cbr 600 I'm getting around 8or9k. Havent stumbled across steel version with the same tooth count yet.
