Need a mechanic for a Katana

My bike broke down at my workplace in Attleboro. I have a truck so I can get it to you, but if a mechanic could come to me that would be great. It's a '90 Katana 600... best I can figure it needs all th general cleaning and a clutch cable replacement, possibly a drive chain replacement. Can anyone recommend someone either certified or with good references who isn't going to charge me an arm and a leg?

Welcome to the forum. Give member Degsy a PM. He's great with stuff like that.

Either that, or I can definitely recommend GMD Computrack in Bellingham. Great work, decent rates

I haven't heard from him yet... anyone have any other recommendations? Seems good mechanics are really hard to find! Is there a thread listing mechanics?

It was a race weekend, so Degsy was most likely up there. He should be back today.

+1, Degsy should be back home by now.

TLRMan is another option, but he's way up in Beverly by me. You're MUCH closer to Degsy in Taunton.

Call Tony at The Pit Stop in New Bedford.

Real good independent. Big Ducati guy. Good dude. Goes to TTD quite a bit.

TLRman, Mark.

Broke down is pretty general, what happened?
