Re: VFR400 Ground-up

$300 *per piston*??? I doubt it cost more. I do know he moved on and got a job w/ Kawi's US outfit.... or last I knew.

And Doc, I've raced a Hawk, been there, done it. I want something else, and well, this is about 50x cooler than a Hawk could ever be

Plus I'll kick yer arse on it. even better.

Re: VFR400 Ground-up

I may be getting a VFR that someone is giving me. It is apart now, and he just wants to get rid of it. This should be an interesting project. It is an 80's one, not sure of the displacement yet. I should have it monday.

check the frame and see if it's got No 1 engraved it in. Scottie almost fell off the chair when he saw it on his frame....no, wait. he almost broke the chair because he's fat.

Re: VFR400 Ground-up

I did hear back from G-force... $2000 for 4 pistons! Yeowch.

There's a group buy goin on right now for Omega pistons at +1mm over and it's looking to be around $140 per piston WITH rings. Woot.

When I had my NC 30 I would order parts from Lings in the UK great service prices and parts. Was about 9 years ago though.
