Adjustable timing gears. For those of you in the know. How beneficial are adjustable timing gears for the street? Some tell me that the gains are un-noticable and some say they are essential in a cam swap. Why not just run the stock gears and save 300 bucks? |

adjustable timing gearsmakes big dif you can adjust where you motor makes its power. but on the other hand you must ajust the rest of your motor ie ign.timing carbs & so on . for the street it depends on how mutch time you feel like fucking around . cause it takes time 2 get it right . your sv should b fine in stock timing on the street . its the hole package with no flat spots . is y suz makes it that way you can ajust the timing for all out hp but loose your low end power |
