Carb Day

Okay, we're thinking of also doing a small 'carb day' up at my place too. As of now, the weekend of July 12th - 13th is looking like the weekend we'll do this. We're not rebuilding carbs or rejetting with this, just doing some simple synch's (carbs & throttle bodies)...

Taking into condsideration that Dan, Rye, Mark and myself are gonna be doing ours that day, it'll only be prudent to 'accept' a couple more...

Like the 'tire day' I'm offering, this will be limited to a first come, first served basis. We WON'T be overloading ourselves with too many bikes for this...

What's really cool is that if Peeps wanna see the difference between different types of carburetion too!

Your Racebike, and most others are Consant Velocity carbs...
Ryan has Flatslide Smooth bores on his Kawi (no Vacuum daphram). Yours and My Tiller have Throttle bodies, and if my brother shows up, we will see Throttle bodies with secondary throttle plates...We could line them up like in a museum!
I could do a little blurb about how they work...when we have the group present.

question

Hey Jay, if I have a friend that just wants to hang and watch our little classroom session, is that cool? He won't work on his bike, but he wants the experience of helping me and possibly any of the other guy's that may need an extra set of hands. He's pretty smart with a wrench... Let me know. Thanks

Okay. This Saturday, the 12th starting at 10:00 AM (we're gonna have a lot to do). DON'T show up at 4:00 in the afternoon and expect us to jump on your bike. Be there, wait your turn and take in some info...

Know how to access your carbs BEFORE HAND! Most bikes require fuel tank/airbox removal to get to your carbs/throttle bodies. Check your manual and AT LEAST get an idea of how to do what needs doing to expose 'em...

Also, if you haven't changed your spark plugs in a while, this would be a good time to do it...

I'll order today.

Can we cover windscreen installation too?
How about knee cap rebuilding?
