Slurp Spiders

Ok, when you go to the "Who's Online" section at the bottom (under the members names) are various "Slurp Spiders". Yahoo Slurp Spider, Google Slurp Spider, etc. What are those?

I am assuming they are guests checking out the site from whatever search engine they came in through from. Is this right?

Search Engine spiders, they 'crawl' around the internet all day indexing websites for inclusion in search results.
