It wasn't the game that was slow, it was the board. It was super crazy slow for a span of at least 15 minutes. I thought it was my browser, but I asked JeffL bout it on AIM & he said the same thing.

It was probably a network issue near the datacenter, they did say that there's an intermittent issue that they've been working to resolve.

I don't know, it doesn't make any sense. The server load is low, and I'm getting ping times...yet it's still slow. AGH! I'll restart apache to see if that helps.

The handling of unread posts is now done via the database instead of with cookies like it used to be. You may need to use the 'mark forums read' function once to mark all the old posts read, and then hopefully it will only show posts that are actually new.
