question for the admins, or anyone else that might know...
what's the time limit before getting automatically signed off?
it seems like every 5 mins or less, I have to login again.
Thanks.

I can keep the site open for days from any number of computers - both Mac & PC - and not get logged out. Do you have your intrawebs settings set to update pages like you describe?

So why am I getting signed off every few mins and seeing this error message?

If you check of 'remember me' when you log in, it shouldn't log you out. Ever*. If you don't check that, 15 minutes of inactivity will terminate your login session.

awesome, thanks!
That'll work till I close Firefox when it deletes the cookies, but that's a setting I put in there. 15 mins was what I was looking for.

I'm pretty sure the default settings dont clear your history and cookies when closing the browser, but you do have to make sure to avoid the ID10T error.

You're right, you have to set it that way and only FF has that option. I use FF as my "visiting shady websites" browser for exactly that reason.

"shady websites".

i use mine to connect to my home proxy server i set up on my domain, so my internet activity only shows my home IP address. My old job was cracking down on monitoring web activity, and they never could figure out how I was browsing on known blocked sites. now that's shady
