Tutorial Section?

It was just an idea I had. I feel like I read about this before, but I didn't see a thread in my search. I know we have a maintenance section. My thought is more of a how to, since so many people do their own projects and work, if we had more of a step by step thread for each project or job. It would be a volunteer type thing when you do a project do a write up of how it was done and take some pics to help with a visual of the important/difficult parts. Things as simple as an oil change or removing tires to more complex things like checking valve clearances or custom mods (i understand every bike is different, but it could give a general idea of what to do). I don't know if people are interested in this or would participate, just an idea.

Re: Tutorial Section?

good luck! I agree it could work, keep it very general, more of a motorcycle related how-to. I am sure there are alot of things others do to their garage or their trailers that could be posted up.

+1 on the how to section

This very subject was brought up a few months ago and basically shot down.

I think it's a great idea as long as it stays on topic at all times.

That's what the Maintinance forum is for.

Unfortunately it seems as though the more knowledgable members of NESR have been spending less & less time here as of late and the BS has been increasing. I'm beginning to think it's related.

Good point, it'll never work here then, I'm withdrawing my proposal

That's the very problem with that. That, and it gets stagnant for months on end. We HAVE tried it before. Many, many moons ago...
