Down with Dunkin Donuts and other habit forming establishments

this angst is directed towards those who love routines so much, they insist on stopping into dunkin donuts every morning for coffee. Perhaps dunkin donuts is as much to blame as mcdonald's is for rambid obesity. in the end, would we have really stopped into a dunkin donuts if it were not there in the first place? would the crave express itself if it were not for the large signs showing pieces of dead cows glistening between slaughtered vegetables and non-kosher bread?

there are people that show up to work EVERY DAMN morning with a dunkin donuts cup. offensive, plain and simple, just offensive.

I like ALL my addictions thank you very much!

I even get my dunkies on the way to work when I ride. Just balance it on the gas cap for the mile or so to work.

Caffeine is a good thing, and NOTHING better after a cold ride than some dunkies coffee.

You're too young to understand

Rambling, incoherent diatribe against the "establishment"...Check!

Poor punctuation and use of made up words (rambid? Something which is both rampant and rabid?)...Check!

Incorrect supporting facts to back up premise (Foo, ain't no vegetables in a Dunkin' Donuts, shiit)...Check!

Welcome back Joe...we, err, missed you? Or something...

Foiled despite his brilliant plan to hide his true identity by posting in italics.

I know about DD addiction... Lately it's been worse....I like their vanilla Chai so much....some days, I even have 2.

Me at the drivethru:

DD: "Dunkin Donuts what is your order?"

Me: " A medium Vanilla Chai with a little bit of ice in it, puulleese"

DD: "you again? Drive up!"

LOL

If it offends you so much...I can just pour it into a non-descript insulated cup

BTW....I am one of those who routinely stops at DD for coffee....several times a day, and in no way can you say it has contributed to my obesity unless straight caffine is now fattening!!

See, SEE?

You're a chick. I think chicks like routines far more than men do. I didn't mean to imply any sort of obesity, what irritates me is the creation of a routine. Why, oh why, do people torture themselves by creating routines?
