Michigan Republican Party wants Michael Moore locked up....Check out migop.org - Basically, Moore handed out free underwear and Ramen noodles to college kids who registered to vote. Apparently, this is in violation of a law against giving consideration to people for voting. Sounds kinda  to me, although he DID break the law...... |

Michigan Republican Party wants Michael Moore locked up....I gotta disagree with a couple of things, though.... Fat ass - definitely. Socialist, self centered, egotistical - maybe. America-hating - no way. He does hate the current administration, but I dont think that makes him an America hater. Michael Moore started off as the guy who fought for the little people. Those of you who might have seen "Roger & Me" (or was it Roger &I? I dont know.....who fuckin cares...) saw a man who was interested in exposing a company that was built in Flint, Michigan and later screwed all of its employees over to send jobs to Mexico.  They were fuckers, and it was a good movie, although not nearly as popular as any of his subsequent stuff.Bowling for Columbine was about gun control, which I dont believe in, so I didn't go see it. Dont know anything about it, except to say that I'm sure he had the right idea at heart, but IMO gun control means educating people on how to use guns safely. Fahrenheit 911 was a movie full of cold hard facts. They were (obviously) heavily painted to look the way he wanted them to, and it was a scary outlook on current events, but it was what it was.  |

But the facts are taken out of context...and most do not matter and are genereal politcal shit.... His movie is spin in the greatest sense....probably the BEST propaganda film ever.... With his facts and his POV he trieds to make you beleive the conspiracy theories...but when picked apart there is nothing to it.. The problem is most will not pick that film apart and watch it like they were reading an encyclopedia...thats what Moore is counting on...and guess what..it worked..lol suprisingly not good enough...because of this and several other factors Kerry should be ahead in the polls by atelast double digits... |
