Someone show me this "Separation of Church and State" clause in the Constitution, I can't seem to find it even though I have looked for it.

Hey, I don't agree with imposing religion on anyone. But, it is important to keep in mind that there is no such thing as "Separation of Church and State".

Let's not forget that the Constitution was written by deeply religious, Christian men. They used the principles of Christianity as a guide for writing that document. I would also submit that all of those men were far more religious that G.W. So, what is wrong with using the principles of Christianity as a 'basis' for how one leads or lives their life????? What is wrong with living by such principles as, The Golden Rule"??? I mean, think about it, several of the ten commandents are LAWS. It is illegal to kill another, steal, etc...

C'mon, Bush is NOT trying to jam his religion down anyone's throat, but rather using his faith as a guide.

BTW, I am not a very religious person. In fact, I have only been in church once in the past 3+ years, and that was for my brother's wedding.

I guess I'm just trying to figure out why, all of a sudden within the past 5-10 years, religion(Christianity in particular) seems to be an offensive thing. It never seemed to bother too many people only 25 years ago. Why now???

If not then we should do away with all religous holidays as to not offend anyone..
