geez... aren't you on a tear, lately?

you mean... you mean... the Homeland Security guys & the Patriot Act (with all of its inherent infringements of liberties) ISN'T GONNA KEEP US SAFE FROM STUFF LIKE THIS ?!?!?!

truth be told, statements like this have been attributed to various al-Quaeda sources-- every few months or so-- ever since 9/11.

so far, it hasn't happened... doesn't mean that it won't, tho...

what do you, bentbryan, propose we do?

edit: oh... and here's some food for thought I just stumbled across: CIA can't confirm validity of tape

How long before we get hit?

Just heard a newsflash that a new tape will be played on Al-Jazeera at 4pm eastern time. We will see it once the CIA has checked it out for hidden messages. it is supposedly a tape by Osama Bin Laden addressing the american people.

Fuck.
