McDonald's Hiring Assistant Managers with STARTING Pay at 35K

Saw a banner hung outside the local McD's I drive by everyday. 35K for an "Assistant Manager" at Mickey D's?

I gotta ask for a raise now....

McDonald's Hiring Assistant Managers with STARTING Pay at 35K

Hard to believe...McDees employees are paid minimum salary for a start, but they get raises often (every few months), if they are good employees...(they have that kind of "team" benefits thing). So I suspect an assistant manager wouldn't be paid that much. Hell, the manager himself must get less than that.

I believe McD's actually has pretty high turnover.

Those jobs are really simple but they don't exactly attract the smartest people. Anyone who is good will move up.

Actually managers get paid very well at McDonalds.

Look at the idiots who can't speak english that they have to deal with in the workplace. That and people are very dissatisfied extremely easily if ANYTHING goes differently than planned. I find it pretty amazing and commendable that you can go to virtually any McDonalds in this entire country and have your food taste the same.

I don't like it much, but that is a feat of engineering and quality control.

and in Europe too! at least, that's been my experience... except for the fries though, seems like the fries are always a little off overseas....

in some ways, Micky D's is a great fall back option when visiting other parts of the world. Of course, I'm SUPER picky and hate most foreign food, so it works for me...
