I am "up" a lot this week.

That is all. The "me first" side of my personality has to like that.

So far this week, I've gotten into heated arguments with two friends. First one was how Bush gives tax credits to business owners who buy SUV's as apposed to any other vehicle and he does not encourage alternative fuel vehicles or reducing our dependance on oil. He just trys to reduce our dependance on "international oil". Roomie's argument was "it's the car company's fault". True, but they are there to MAKE MONEY. Govenment is here to serve us and the country we live in.

Second argument with about how Bush wants government money to go to religious based organizations.

I just think it's about your core values of what you thinka government should be. That is why anyone on either side can be swayed.

By "Up" I mean my investments are making substiantially more money than anytime in the last month.

I thought you meant by "up" was bring point after point to deaf ears about his policies.

Then again, the same could be said about us.

I'm starting to think some of the people here would still vote for Bush even if he had bombed Ohio into the stone age to create jobs.

I guess the thing I am missing is it doesn't matter what he does in office, he is a great president cause he is a cool guy and is "One of the folks"
