Not sure I agree that Moore belongs on top of it. I suspect he will keep making movies no matter what people say. He's driven by something else other than a desire for fame. I'm sure he's used to not getting attention, he is not someone like Paris Hilton who is going to go psycho if people stop caring about her.

I doubt we will care about any more movies he makes but he'll probably keep making them anyway.

actually, I somewhat agree with Ben, I would have put Paris at the top of that list. There are puddles deeper than her.

I think that depends solely on what type of movies he makes in the future. Bowling for Columbine sucked, F911 was nothing more that his crack at Bush (and also kinda sucked). But his early movies, which weren't as politically geared, were VERY good. I enjoyed Roger & Me very much, and I think if he would look at more consumerism and other issues, as opposed to politics, he'd be a good filmmaker again.

BTW, had Bush lost, I doubt he'd be at the tope of that list.

Roger and Me is just as political as F911 and Bowling for Columbine...

Maybe you agree with him in Roger and Me, and Disagree with his views in the new movies... don't let that blind you into thinking that any of his movies aren't politically motivated.

I think Bowling for Columbine is probably the best... it is the most balanced, he does not come into the movie with a set agenda or viewpoint, he started with a question.

E.x.

Roger and Me - he starts with the presumption that the big company was bad

F911 - He starts with the presumption that Bush is bad

Columbine - He doesn't really try to blame the whole thing on guns.. the point is more trying to figure out what is different about Americans that makes us kill each other more often.

He is just a bit more subtle... Roger and Me is a ploy to get more restrictive trade rules put in place...

Big company CEOs are political figures, as they are ultimately in charge of the people lining the pockets of government representatives.

Edit - I'm guessing you know something about this that I dont, but I've read quite a bit about Michael Moore, I was a big fan of his in high school (Roger & Me and TV Nation), and I've never read anything about him being demanding or snooty.
